Position: Oracle DBA backup/Recovery Location: New York, NY (Downtown) Duration: 12 Months Contract Start Date: Approx July 1, 2009 Rate: 55-60$ *Job Description:* Required Skills: A minimum of 5 years Oracle Apps DBA experience; A minimum of 5 years experience in Oracle 8i, 9i, 10g; A minimum of 4 years experience with Solaris operating system; A minimum of 5 years experience in backup and recovery using RMAN; A minimum of 2 years experience in Backup Tuning; A minimum 4 years of experience in scripting and automating the backup processes. DESIRABLE Experience Listed in order of importance: Experience in installing and configuring Grid Oracle Enterprise Management (OEM) and QUEST systems management tools.
