Experience and Skills Required/Desired: § *Strong QA methodology, in-depth understanding of QA process, SDLC process, testing tools (defect tracking, requirements gathering, automation, performance*, etc.), as well as *technical leadership* skills § *10+ years experience in management** and proven history of implementing testing process/methodology** *§ *Minimum 10 years involvement in the financial services industry *§ Prior experience in creating a strategy for and *leading the testing efforts of large scale projects* and *technical teams of complex hardware and software based products* § Ability to engage and influence IT management § Ability to balance control responsibilities with the need to deliver pragmatically § Extremely strong capacity to drive change and excel in a fast-paced, agile environment where critical thinking and strong problem solving skills are required for success § Specific knowledge of *Quality Management approaches, and Testing Tools and Practices* § Proven experience of metrics development and reporting Position 2: *QA Analyst* Location: *New York City (Locals to tri-state area only please)* Industry: *Investment Banking* Type: Corp to Corp No. of positions: 1 Duration: 6+ months with big possibility of extensions Rate: please provide best possible daily rate Level: 7-10 years experience required *Job Description*: QA Analyst for a Financial Accounting Implementation project Experience and Skills Required/Desired: A self starter and innovator, the candidate must be able to demonstrate a very strong track record of working both independently and within a team, using one's own initiative to provide robust and timely QA based on sound principles to deliver successful IT solutions within the investment banking industry. • Accomplished technical skills, ideally with *some software development grounding*, with a wide variety of *manual testing techniques and tools, very strong SQL**,* knowledge of *multi-tier architecture* and *test environment configuration. *• Knowledge of *source code control systems, ideally ClearCase.* • Knowledge of *investment banking and financial products (equities and equity swaps, index futures and interest rate swaps.) *• Good verbal and written communication skills • Experience of using *Test Management software* (e.g. *HP Quality Center, TestDirector *or equivalent). • Knowledge and experience of *automated test tools such as HP QuickTest Pro / WinRunner*, *LoadRunner performance test tools* would be useful but not essential. • Qualifications: Must be certified *with ISEB Foundations of Software Testing (or equivalent*).
