APPLICATION SUPPORT
Location: Candidate must work at one of the CLIENT locations; either
Charlotte, NC, Jacksonville, FL, Newark, DE or Phoenix, AZ.
Job Description:
Responsible for creating, enhancing, debugging, supporting, testing, and
maintaining end-to-end n-Tier .NET applications that support business units
or supporting functions. Development tools include AJAX, .NET and SQL
Server. Projects include remediating legacy applications to .NET. May
provide technical direction and system architecture for individual
initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource.
Other responsibilities include project management, good communication and
documentation skills. Candidate will be able to work on projects
individually and within a group setting. Must have good prioritization and
organization skills and be able to juggle several projects at one time.
Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of
a team related to special initiatives or operations. May have
responsibility for a project and project budget. May collaborate with
external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application.
Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities. Works
under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned
consultants. Typically requires 5-7 years of experience.
This position is responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting
banking applications. Candidate must have good knowledge of Production
support and hands-on technical skill. Responsibility includes: Review
incidents and provide break/fix solutions; Perform small maintenance and
enhancements, and software upgrades for applications; Maintain
documentation; On-call support for escalations from Level 2. **This is an
application support role – please do not submit candidates who only want to
serve as a developer; small % of this role is development**
Required Skills:
5-7 years experience in application development and support (.Net)
Windows/IIS
MS SQL Server (Develop stored procedures)
FTP/File Transfers
- Must be detail oriented
- Able to work with a remote team
- Must have trouble shooting skills with ability to consider the
up/downstream impacts
Desired / Additional Preferred Skills:
BigIP/3DNS – load-balancing
XML/Web Services
Needs to be able to work flexible, weekend/evening hours, for production
issues.
This is a production support role and the candidate needs to be able to
work weekends and after hours, if production issues occur.
