*Etl developer* *6-9 months contract* *NYC, NY* *Position Summary:* The ETL Developer will support the business by creating, adapting, and troubleshooting ETL jobs to populate the Data Warehouse from a wide range of data sources. She/he will work with business users and with the BI team to understand, document and execute the ETL requirements for any solution. Responsibilities: Essential Functions: Design, QA and release ETL jobs as required by business requests and DW optimi Responsible for Extract, Transform and Load Process/design, source-target mapping, reviewing, writing, tuning Complex ETL jobs – daily and high frequency. Contribute to documentation and implementation of departmental standards Coordinate work with other members of BI team and ERP team Provide production support including some rotating on-call scheduling Manage workload to deliver to deadlines and according to business priorities Supervision Received: - Supervised by BI Manager/ Data Modeler - Receives guidance on prioritization of workload - Works in tandem with Senior ETL Developer Supervisory Duties: - None Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related numerate / quantitative subject Minimum (5) years experience of IT industry experience Minimum of (3) years ETL (BO data integrator 11.7 and BO data services 14.1) experience Minimum of (2) years experience supporting realtime data reporting and dashboards Minimum of (2) years experience Oracle DB; SQL experience preferred Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and excellent interpersonal skills. Experience in Internet Retail building 360 degree view of the consumer, Personalization/Segmentation preferred. Experience with BO data integrator 11.7 and BO data services 14.1 is essential.
