Here is the job description: Title: .Net Developer with BA skills Location: NYC Duration: 3 - 6 Months MUST HAVE SYBASE EXPERIENCE Must have Business Analysis Skills We are looking for a developer with analyst experience. In addition to the specs below, the developer would have strong knowledge of VB6, ASP, javascript and HTML. Added bonuses would be XML, XSD experience and they must have Oracle experience. Finally demonstrated experience of writing functional specifications, technical specifications, gathering requirements and cognisant of the requirements / specifications process. Specific Skills Required for Position: Candidate must have MS.NET, expertise with Microsoft .NET Framework (3 years), XML and related technologies (3 years), Database design and implementation (5 years), internet technologies (3 years), Oracle 9.0 or higher expertise including creating procedures, packages and views. Additionally candidate must have Sybase experience creating procedures, triggers and maintainng referential integrity. They will need to have a strong knowledge of working with Oracle and Sybase Databases. Other skills needed are excellent written, typing and verbal communication skills. Preferred Experience: Microsoft Visual Studio .NET XML/XSLT/XPATH/MS InfoPath forms XML Spy Javascript, HTML Oracle Database experience is a Plus Construction industry experience is a plus. Responsibilities: Develop distributed applications and reports. They will participates in SCA System Development Life Cycle as specified by the Manager. Interact with end users for requirement specifications, perform analysis, design solutions, write specifications, code and test solutions and write user manuals. Document, maintain and upgrade existing applications.
