Title : Sr. BO Lead (Reporting experience required) Location : Indianapolis, IN Duration : 6 months Rate : Best rate Required Skills: --3-5+ years experience with Business Objects ETL development --Must have experience implementing ETL processes in Business Objects Data Integrator/Data Services --Must have 3-5+ years experience with data migration/integration projects and/or data warehouse projects --ETL design experience is required --Hands on SQL or T-SQL experience required --Must have SQL Server experience --Experience in performance tuning of ETL jobs and data models required --Must have experience migrating ETL code from development to test to production environments --Must have strong data analysis skills Desired Skills: -- Experience with Oracle 11G a big plus --Must be able to work independently Job/Project Description: This is an opportunity for an experienced Business Objects Developer to lead a brand new project initiative for a solid Indianapolis organization. This developer will focus on the integration of key organizational systems developing an effective solution to take data from A to Z. If you are of an analytical mind and enjoy leading and solving problems, then this is the role for you. Additional Information: --This is a new project focused on integrating with their financial modeling application called Polypath --This person will work to take data from one of our transaction systems (homegrown) to this system --Will use Data Services to extract data with stored procedures and format in XML and feed to the system. --Bulk of the duties focused on development. Will design and implement solution to take data from A to Z. --The team is already doing source to target mapping now. --Important that this person is independent and analytical and can think for themselves and not just wait to be told what to do. --Person will work closely with the VP and BA's. --Will design, develop and manage ETL jobs using Business Objects Data Services/Data Integrator --Will help in the delivery of BI initiatives and support the overall data migration and integration environment through advanced ETL architecture and proactively identifying and implementing ETL design enhancements --Analyze data sources and target data models --Design and develop ETL jobs including writing scripts and complex SQL statements --Create and execute ETL job schedules --Optimize ETL jobs --Create and maintain technical design documentation --Assist in data modelling and design for data marts and data warehouses --Identify data quality issues --Be responsible for understanding source system database structures and underlying data by performing source system data profiling including structure, data, and relationship discovery --Collaborate with team members throughout the SDLC to perform model reviews, data reviews, issues resolution; and assure the successful delivery of applications --Consolidate, integrate, and deliver data for warehouse solutions Thanks & Regards Naveen Sr Techincal Recruiter Advent Global Solutions, Inc.
