Business Challenge: The client is in the process implementing PeopleSoft, PWC is the vendor that has been working on this implementation. This is a massive implementation and it’s been going on for 4 years. The client has a very rigid deadline –they have to go live August 31st with Finance and Procure and Spend. By the end of the year will go live with the HR module. Strong Oracle BI Architecture (11g based). Proven & demonstratable knowledge in BI Security, OBIA Architecture, Customization, Best practices, BI Mobile Implementations Excellent Communication Skills Strong Technical Knowledge of OBIEE/Informatica/ODI (nice to have) Brief Job Description (Solution Architects / Principal Engineer) (Specific to OBIA) • Atleast 8+ years of Business Intelligence Domain Experience • Atleast 5+ years of OBIA (Oracle Business Intelligence Applications) experience in implementing large scale platforms, atleast 3 modules end to end implementation experience • Strong Functional Flows knowledge in all of Procurement, Supply Chain & Order Management & Financials • Strong Functional Flows in Manufacturing, HR, Enterprise Asset Management is a PLUS • Exposure to the ETL Technology (ODI / Informatica) and the design Patterns of Custom Warehouses (like OBIA) is a MUST • Star Schema Design & Datawarehouse Standards Knowledge as applicable to BI Applications • Ability to understand a Report Requirement to the underlying RPD Modeling and DW modeling that adheres to the best practices of OBIA • Ability to utilize the web services, accelerators, data lineage tools that are in built within the tool for faster execution • Experience in setting up and executing a project plan involving dependent items including ETL, Schedulers, ERP Systems and BI Systems to communicate with each other • Proven record of complex business requirements handling, and proven experience with leadership in tackling teams to achieve them This individual will be responsible for the entire project in some cases.
