*Position: SAP Manager with OTC Business processing background Location : Pittsburgh, PA Duration : 18+ Months Phone / Skype or F2F * *Summary* Responsible for the full systems support and development life-cycle for SAP ECC, BCS and PI systems utilizing IBM application managed support resources in response to end-user requests. Plan, coordinate, and manage all activities related to the design, development, and implementation of enterprise information systems and software applications. Oversee maintenance, support, and upgrades of existing systems and applications. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities* *Operational Management* · Manage the development and deployment of new SAP enhancements and break/fix corrections to existing applications throughout the enterprise. · Provide overall direction and integration of SAP with appropriate functional and/or business area(s). Oversees the design and implementation of new business processes / enhancements. · Manage a methodology driven quality plan, monitors and controls the quality of the deliverable, as well as manages the enhancement process through customer acceptance. · Work with business unit managers and form alliances on projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements/conflicts and vendor contract clarification. · Interact with internal and external customers to ensure continuous customer satisfaction. · Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applications. · Cultivate, disseminate, and enforce functional policies, procedures, and quality assurance best practices. · Perform other duties as required or assigned. *Supervision* · Manage and administrate a contingent of IBM support analysts in conjunction with an IBM project delivery manager. · Manage one SAP Support Analyst III. *Accountability* · Accountable for the performance of an SAP ERP system and related system software. · Accountable for the approval and performance of externally developed software and code that modifies or interfaces with SAP (including ABAP, PI, etc.). · Ensure that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues. * Qualifications*: To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A master’s degree is an advantage. · A minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology preferably in an SAP environment. 3 to 5 years in a management or supervisor role. · Equivalent combination of education and experience. *Reasoning ability* – ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. *Other skills and abilities* · Understanding of organizations goals and objectives. · Exceptional customer service orientation. · Ability to prioritize and execute/oversee tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations. · Highly self motivated and directed with a keen attention to detail. · Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. · Strong listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to interact with all levels of management with ease. Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language. · Proven experience with change management principles and practices. · Ability to manage conflict and handle disputes and disagreements positively and proactively. · Functional experience with SAP, BCS, ABAP, PI, and module pool. *Other qualifications* – minimal travel, some overtime is required. *Physical demands* – the physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
