*Position : QA Tester Location : Alpharetta, GA Duration : 6+ Months Phone !!! * *Rate: $40-45/Hr on c2c MAX * *Local preferred* *Explanation for Position:* •The role of the Senior QA Analyst is to perform and/or coordinate system verification test activities. •Additionally, the Senior QA Analyst is responsible for establishing, maintaining and implementing the test methods and procedures necessary for the verification of business applications. •Planning testing tasks and procedures as well as maintaining Microsoft project plans is required. •The successful candidate must have extensive experience in testing Web Services and XML and testing web-based applications in a J2EE environment. *Details of Position:* •Advanced technical skills; including system development lifecycle methodology & testing knowledge; adv. skills are required in the area of application development & testing practices. •Extensive knowledge of testing web services and *XML in a UNIX/Java with Oracle and/or DB2 environment* is required. •An advanced knowledge for use of -- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer); •Defect Tracking Tool (Serena Team Track); Configuration Management System (PVCS Version Manager);Testing Tools (HP Quality Center, HP Quick Test Pro, Load Runner); •Ability to configure or customize tools. •The candidate must have ability to work within a dynamic environment and work well with small interactive teams as well as work under duress. *Management Skills: * · Must be self-managed and be capable of managing small 2-4 person teams.
