Client: Duke Clinical Research Institute F2F REQUIRED *Overview:* DataStaff is currently seeking to fill a *6-7* *month contract* position for a *Java Developer *on a project with one of our direct clients in *Durham, NC*. The position may be extended based on budget, need, and individual's fit within the department. The manager is only interested in local candidates at this time and will require a* face-to-face interview* for selection. *Responsibilities:* Responsibilities include planning, developing and implementing technical projects. Working closely with other members of the group, determine how applications are being received, and what new applications should be offered. Must be able to independently translate documented user requirements into complete functional applications. · Analyzes, develops, tests, deploys and/or maintains software systems · Modifies existing software written in-house · Helps define functional specifications of software systems · Participates in the development of long range planning for new projects · Assists in the development of the validation/development build environments · Prepares documentation pertaining to the systems and services supported by the client · Integrates the functionality of all software systems used within the client office to maximize technical environment · Demonstrates a willingness to accept new or additional responsibility · Identifies and recommends solutions for system inefficiencies · Participates in system architecture design · Acts as a mentor to less experienced development staff · Identifies and acts upon opportunities to improve communications at all levels and in all directions · Displays an excellent ability to facilitate cross-functional communication, including ability to identify and resolve conflict · Understands system validation and documentation in a regulatory environment *Qualifications:* *Education/Training* BA or BS in computer science, mathematics or a computer-related field and *7 or more years* of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. *Required* · Thorough understanding of object-oriented programming · Significant experience with the Java or C# programming language · Experience with JPA, Spring, JSON, JQuery · Hands-on experience configuring and developing COTS software · Strong understanding of SDLC processes · Ability to translate business process language into requirements and system design · Development skills may include: VB, C#, HTML/DHTML, JSP, Java Servlets, Oracle, PL/SQL, Java, UNIX, Windows, J2EE, and XML · Understanding of relational database concepts and products · Understanding of web architecture, application development, and security procedures · Experience in version management and change control discipline · Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing · Ability to provide reliable time estimates and to handle multiple projects at one time *Preferred* Spring Security, Spring MVC, Spring Core, REST services, Hibernate, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Java Server Pages (JSP), XML schema authoring and Java Processing, Maven, GIT, Drools, Apache POI, iText Thanks and Regards, Chathurya 443-982-9928 Paradigminfotech 8830 Stanford Blvd, Suite 312 Columbia, MD 21045 recruit...@paradigminfotech.com // *www.paradigminfotech.com* <http://www.paradigminfotech.com/> The best way to reach me is via email -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Developers" group.
