H1s are accepted Location : Minneapolis, MN Position Requirements: Candidates submitted for the position, *must* have: · POS implementation project experience · *MS Project 2010 or greater experience* · *Take assignments from APEX Program Manager as well as POS Program Manager (consultant).* · *Integration experience with 3rd party systems and vendors* Candidates submitted for the position nice to have: · SharePoint 2007 or higher experience · iNovah Point of Sale (POS) experience · Image Cash Letter experience · PCI experience *Project Title*: Project Manager for Implementation of the Enterprise Point of Sale and Electronic Payment Solution Estimated Start Date: *1/05/2015 * Estimated End Date: *12/31/2015* Hennepin County is in the process of implementing System Innovators’ iNovah cashiering and electronic payment system as the Enterprise Point of Sale (POS) and online payment solution across numerous Lines of Business / Business Functions. The software is web-based and highly configurable. Individual departmental as well as overall enterprise needs will need to be considered during a multi-phased implementation process. The project manager will work on more complex projects such as Image Cash Letter (ICL), Point to Point (P2P) encryption for credit card transactions as well as implementations that include integrations to line of business (LOB) applications. iNovah will integrate with the County’s PeopleSoft’s Financial Supply Chain system. Qualified candidates will have: · 3-5 years in experience leading and implementing third party software across multiple departments · Strong project management skills with a focus on creating high level and detailed project plans for projects · Working knowledge in business process and or configuring Point of Sale and online payment systems · Experience with integrating POS systems with PeopleSoft FSCM is a plus · 3rd party integration experience · Strong verbal and written communication skills is a must · Strong interpersonal skills (soft skills) In addition candidates will also be: · Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project 2010+ · Proficient in the use of Microsoft SharePoint 2010+ The project manager will be a key member of the enterprise team with the following responsibilities: · Work together with the APEX team and program manager to follow our established standard framework and project process for POS implementations · Work closely with the APEX Business Analysts and POS Business Analysts · Work with program manager to develop estimates of resource needs and delivery dates for onboarding business functions onto the new solution including integrations to LOB systems. · Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external teams of various backgrounds such as business SMEs, IT, APEX, vendors (e.g., Systems Innovator) and customers. · Manage the planning, assignment, and execution of tasks for the POS / Electronic PaymentProject using Microsoft Project 2010 and Microsoft SharePoint and PMI methodology. Using APEX PMO project templates and methodology as well. o Proactively manage changes in scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans o Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders o Provide, manage, and update an overall project plan o Define project tasks and resource requirements o Plan and schedule project timelines, tasks, milestones o Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path o Track project milestones and deliverables · Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs · Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members · Take assignments from APEX Program Manager as well as POS Program Manager. · Escalate issues or obstacles related to project delivery · Responsible for change management related to project delivery and coordinates with relevant technical teams and stakeholders · Provide project status, risks and issues to the APEX Program Manager, POS Program Manager and PMO List of Deliverables, e.g. what the consultant(s) will be expected to accomplish: · Establish project management framework with the following deliverables: o Project Charter o Quality Assurance Test Plan o Deployment Management / Implementation Plan o Training Plan o Communications Management Plan o Post Implementation Plan · Identify other key deliverables that need to be part of the overall project · Develop POS / Electronic Payment Project Plan using County’s Microsoft Project Template · Manage and update POS / Electronic Payment Project using Microsoft Project 2010 · Define project success criteria with the support and buy-in of the POS Project Team and Steering Committee · Provide bi-weekly written and weekly verbal status reports defining project progress, problems and solutions to PMO and monthly Steering Committee meetings · Manage and track vendor consulting hours spent as part of the project and report back to Steering Committee for decision making on scope · Lead POS implementation(s): software, hardware rollout, testing, training, etc… *Impact/Outcome from a Business Perspective: *Successful implementation of the Point of Sale solution across various business functions within the County.
