Python/Java Developer
·         This role is 80% development work and 20% systems administration.
·         Development work will be primarily in Python but they need to
know Java as well.
·         Box products, such as Archer which is a governance, risk and
compliance tool.  Another example of a Box product would be Carbon Black
which is an incidence response tool.
·         Troubleshooting
·         The candidate needs to have integration experience.

Sr Systems Admin
·         This role is 80% systems administration work and 20% development.
·         Unix, Windows and Linux Systems
·         Box products


Job Title: Senior Developer - Python and Java
Duration: 6-12+ months

POSITION
The Security Architecture and Engineering team is looking for a senior
engineer for a system engineering and development role. Primary
responsibilities will be in developing solutions to solve information
security challenges. Projects will be developing system integrations,
scripts and other tools to support InfoSec initiatives. The ideal candidate
will have a developer mindset combined with system engineering and
automation skills. Flexibility in programming languages (Python, Java and
.NET) will be key to your success as you will be working with a combination
of open source and commercial solutions. You will be expected to fully
support everything that you build. This role will be roughly 80%
development work and 20% system administration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop integrations between various security applications
• Develop Cloud Formation scripts and installation scripts to support
InfoSec applications
• Design and implement solutions that solve Wellington's InfoSec needs
• Investigate new technologies and approaches and make recommendations for
improvement
• Support and enhance existing Node.js and Python applications
• Partner with Cyber Defense, Risk, Vulnerability Management, and Security
Operations teams to build solutions that improve their process and workflow
• Build automation to eliminate repetitive tasks
• Participate in on-call rotation for escalated security events

Candidates should be familiar with:
• Shell scripting technologies (bash, powershell, etc)
• Fluent in a major programming language and interested in learning new
languages as needed
• Ability to program against various API's (REST, SOAP)
• Building CloudFormation (JSON) templates
• Basic sysadmin skills in both Linux and Windows

development.
