Please include your employer details as well. *Job Title Specialized .Net Developer* *Project Location IL-Illinois/Mossville* *Duration 12 Months* *Mode of Interview: Telephonic and Skype* JOB DUTIES: - Work as a developer on a small focused team creating systems supporting telemetry registration, subscriptions and transnational history of machine fleet. - Work alongside other small teams creating similar systems with different machine fleet data sets. - Collaborate with a team of developers creating Web Applications and API’s supporting the Telematics service layer. - Responsible for application design, development, and automoated testing of C# and Java code. - Work with a development team and other infrastructure specialists such as data architects and web developers. - Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs utilizing software packages considered. - Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. - Review and approve modifications to existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance. - Review and approve the design and development of software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design. - Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration. - Counsel customers about software system design and maintenance. - Counsel systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. - Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. - Supervise the work of programmers, technologists, technicians and other engineering and scientific personnel. TYPICAL DAY: - At desk writing code and attend 3 or 4 bi-weekly meetings. BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or related field. - A minimum of 6 years of development experience. - A minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft Azure, C# and RESTful web services. - Experience with Java, Javascript, HTML5, and Angular web technologies is desired.
