Otherwise you may want to save the current emacspeak files: cp /etc/emacspeak.conf /etc/emacspeak.conf.sav cp /usr/bin/emacspeak /usr/bin/emacspeak.sav cd /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/ cp -pR emacspeak emacspeak.sav These files are also in the CD though.
