Hi does anyone know about a linux called fedora.
A friend gave me a 4 disc set.
My daughter says it has a desktop kind of like windows
and she saw a screen reader. I guess it didn't see the soundcard in the computer I tried it on,
because the screen reader didn't work.
But if anyone knows anything about it I would like some information.
Thanks Mike.

Hi Mke,

Fedora Core is the open source version of Red Hat. The screen reader included is probably Gnopernicus. Gnopernicus is still in an early stage of development. On my Debian Sarge 3.1 system, the screen reader works but the screen magnification is not yet functional.

On my version, accessibility must be enabled in the admin menu for Gnopernicus to be functional. I'm sorry but I haven't used Red Hat for several years.

Have a nice new year!
