When the Oralux packages will be publicly released this operation will be cleaner and more straightforward. Last year, if I remember well, I firstly looked at the Feather Linux distro, and then decrease the Oralux size as far as I could, and slightly tweaked linuxrc in the minirt / initrd. I did not included Emacs because of the small size targeted, but with more care it could be perhaps possible. There is probably a more optimal way to do it. Today, it could be very interesting to study how Puppy Linux works.
