Maybe you should paste the actual error message you are getting. For a
list of Debian mirror servers, check out

http://www.debian.org/mirror/list

The German mirror I use (de.debian.org) works fine. The problem with
the pgp keys is not fatal, it probably just means you do not have the
required public keys to verify the downloaded packages. You can get
the current key for the debian repository by installing the latest apt
package i think.
