This example is not maintained. The source should probably not even ship at this point. It would be nice to either revive it, or to create a new example illustrating the interesting aspects that were covered, in particular localization and multiple layouts. The epilogue was probably relying on an older way of converting XForms controls to XHTML.
To do you own layout, just modify theme.xsl. It is called by the epilogue pipeline.

Related to this: when looking at petstore's epilogue.xpl, I don't see immediately at what point XForms is converted to XHTML, which should be done *somewhere*, I guess.
Background: I want to create a standard page layout (top, left side, body, etc.) for a site, something that should be possible using epilogue.xpl, I think. A working example would be great.
