Yes, I am using Internet Explorer but I haven't tested this on any other browser yet. And submission is also declared as mentioned in your mail *<xforms:submission id="formSubmit" method="post"/>*. The error is displayed on the page and is common page not found error, which is displayed in Internet Explorer when an incorrect URL is typed. Any guesses what I may be doing wrong here?
In this case, without being able to reproduce the problem myself, I can't tell you exactly what it is. But I can give you a few clues so we can figure this out:
1) Try this with another browser (Firefox). If it doesn't work as well, what is the error you get?
2) You were saying you don't have any exception on the console. Can you check if there is an exception in the Tomcat log files? My preferred way to do this is to stop Tomcat, remove all the files in the Tomcat "logs" directory, start Tomcat, reproduce the problem, and check the content of " localhost_log.{date}".
2) What is the HTTP request sent to the server and the HTTP response sent back by the server? If you don't have already a tool of choice to monitor HTTP traffic, try TCPMonitor that comes with Axis (URL below) or Ethereal (http://www.ethereal.com/ - that's more serious software).
