Hi Rudi, You can scaffold a module and a widget goes in a module, but there is no way to directly scaffold a widget.
I'm midway through making my first widget at the moment. I had a useful discussion about it that helped me: http://orchard.codeplex.com/Thread/View.aspx?ThreadId=232577 I'm also using the Maps module from the gallery as an example. It's a simple module that contains a widget and there's not too much else going on so it's quite easy to find the right bits.
