Hi Richard, I wish I had known about the extension too. My apologies about your working weekend.
Feel free to use any additional modules in your Round 2 website. There is no requirement whatsoever that your Round2 website only use your module. But yes, the goal of the website in general is to show off what your module does, so focusing some part of the website on that purpose is still important. As for whether to use "competing" modules in your website, I will leave that to your discretion. There is no formal rule here. I could have had a slightly more chilled weekend. Still, good to get it done so I can move on to round two. I was wondering for the website if we should use other modules too. Obviously our own module should be the focus of the site, but one of the strengths of Orchard is all the modules that are coming out. That said, it would seem unfair to use a competing module. So, I just wanted to check what the consesus was on this. Thanks, -- Richard Garside Web developer and designer Old Broadcasting House, 148 Woodhouse Lane, Leeds, LS2 9EN. It's exciting to watch the entries roll in on http://www.orchardproject.net/omc/Contest/Browse! I would like to give you all an update, specifically about the Round 1 closing date. While looking over the contest entries on http://www.orchardproject.net/omc today, it came to our attention that there is a discrepancy in the posted Round 1 closing dates. On the Submit Entry page it says Mar 30, and on the Contest Rules it says Mar 15. This was an unfortunate oversight that we need to address in a fair way. To remedy this, we are advancing everyone to Round 2 today. You will continue to be able to update your module through March 30, when Round 2 closes, for final judging, As a reminder, the goal for Round 2 is to deliver a website that makes best use of your module in a real-world scenario. To allow you to publish your Round 2 website for judging, we will be provide free hosting account information to all contest participants that submit a module to the gallery. That should happen within the next week (stay tuned for an update about this on the contest website). In the meantime, enjoy the extra time to improve your module and have fun with this contest. Thanks again to everyone for participating.... On to Round 2!
