If it happens it should be worldwide but that may make it more difficult to
organize. Any takers?

Sounds interesting. Is this going to be a worldwide thing as I'm not located in
the US but in Belgium?

Actually a Hackathon is more along the lines of just developing
extensions/plugins etc.

This request is more in line with the concept of a Give-Camp
(http://givecamp.org/) with specific use of Orchard.

Most give camps are set up to help non-profits/charities solve a technical
problem, and the developers then choose the platform/technologies they want to
use to solve the problem - usually based on what they know.

I'm thinking Dan is speaking of something like a hackathon. (Probably thinking
virtual but possibly individual local events?)

I've done these before and they can be fun and valuable. I might be interested.

Best,

Ryan
