Actually a Hackathon is more along the lines of just developing extensions/plugins etc. This request is more in line with the concept of a Give-Camp (http://givecamp.org/) with specific use of Orchard. Most give camps are set up to help non-profits/charities solve a technical problem, and the developers then choose the platform/technologies they want to use to solve the problem – usually based on what they know. I've done these before and they can be fun and valuable. I might be interested.
