Last week I bought, for a birthday present, a cymbidium labeled Cym. Hoosia 'Hak'.
Most probably it should have been labeled Cymbidium hoosai.

What about the clonal name ?
Should it be Mak for Makino who described the species (Botanical Magazine 16: 27. 1902) ?
************ In what conditions should that species be grown : warm or intermediate ?
