I would have thought a lawyer, even one not qualified to practice outside
his Canadian state of residence, would be careful of making false
accusations on a public forum. The AOS Nominating Committee will have used
an alternate for any selections where even a perceived conflict of interest
may have been possible. Further, to the best of my knowledge, any change to
the nominating procedure would have been notified the correct time in
advance, long before a Nominating Committee could even have met. I am sure
Will Rhodehamel complied, as always, with the AOS bylaws.

Personally, I think the nominated slate could not have been stronger, better
balanced as to experience and gender and I compliment the Nominating
Committee on doing an outstanding job. I am sorry that Howard Bronstein did
not inspire the members to advance him further but I am sure they decided
with the best interests of a great organization at heart. I am a little
confused however. I heard Howard Bronstein saying he wanted no part of this
silly petition when Ginsberg got it underway so I must ask the question of
its promoter. Is this something done with Howard Bronstein's blessing or is
this grandstanding for some other purpose? Also, I think before anyone signs
anything, they would be well advised to find out who else may be on the
"Ginsberg Slate".
