Iris and everyone else,
Please do not just throw out old Pesticides, these are hazardous materials and can cause lots of damage to the environment and to the people who will handle them once you throw them out.
You should always contact your city or county to find out their system for disposal of hazardous materials. Many areas have a hazardous disposal center for disposal of the material.
This also applies to paint thinner, old paint, and lots of other chemicals we have around the house. If the material is poisonous or hazardous in any way do not just throw it in the trash.

I know from my own experience that if nothing else, it causes crippled
flowers months later. I think Orthenex can too, but only on rather delicate plants,
and not as bad as Cygon. I threw my old bottle of Cygon out.
