Dera K Barret and OGDs
I grow Aerangis modesta outside on cork and give it 3+ hours of direct
morning sun [8 to 11]. I water daily and fertilize weekly year round.
The plant attached to the bare cork in a matter of days and the roots
are now 6 to10" long. I mounted it as I saw a new root arise with a live
tip and postioned it so the root would hit it very quickly. I have
noticed no leaf spotting. I do not use sphagnum moss around the roots.
It does get plenty of air circulation. It is a fast grower compared to
some other Aerangis the I have. It puts out 2 to 3 leaves a year. Good
luck!!
