I have been prepared to overlook some of the flames on this list in the past,
but I find the use of terms such as
"Stupid bastard" highly objectionable, and totally unsuitable for a public
forum like OGD. Please desist and get back to discussing orchids.
Dear Colin, what I miss in your message is the question why I did use that term .... maybe you think again before you criticize
Its all dij` vue .... don't attack the defense, attack the culprit.
I have said it before, and I say it again ... whoever gets on my back gets flamed ... and whoever is criticizing me for flaming without criticizing the culprit should think again. I am just surprised that some of you take so long to understand what is really going on.. So let me put it clear and blunt again .... whoever slanders and libels someone and questions someone's personal and professional integrity because he is too stupid to find the references to any specific word is nothing but a "stupid bastard" ... "stupid" because he does not know what he is doing and a "bastard" because he intentionally slanders resp. libels a person. I was going to say "sorry" ... but on second thought ... why should I be sorry to call a criminal a criminal?

I really and truly fail to understand how grown people can continue slinging
abuse at one another on this forum. Surely - if someone says something you do
not like or do not agree with - shut up! It makes for better reading for the
rest of us, who may actually learn something valuable if the list were not
taken up with all this other rubbish!
I will not allow myself to be libeled or slandered on a medium and not retaliate on that same medium ... and if I did so, the same people would be the first to cry :"look, he did not even defend himself, thus it must be true"
Again, as for Colin, let me tell you to think again ... where does the "other rubbish" have its origin. And by the way, being slandered and being told that my scientific work is no good is not "other rubbish" but a very serious affair. Since 1978 I am mainly catering for the orchid world .... do you really think I going to let that stupid bastard Baby kick me in the rear for it?
Do you really think that I find all this funny? Do you really think I love to spend hours to defend myself against criminals like Arditti, Baruk, Baby and their gang?
