Well Folks I have noticed that the list is actually a polite and friendly place the past week.......I can not think back to when I actually smiled when I saw the mail come in. >From reading many emails about what a great guy Guido is' and has been (at least w/ a couple of chardonnays), I am quiet sure its all true. But unfortunately he was also the school yard bully. In a small community like this a bully can not be tolerated even if they have value. We can all find a spot to be called names or listen to others shouting out insults if need be. But having it thrown in my face was just a bit too much for me. Actually if he had been my neighbor and calling out some of the vulgar insults out loud on the front lawn I would have called the police. I am sure there are many folks who have left the list because they were tired of either the abuse or just tired of reading it....I was ready to leave myself. I have no value to the list but I do enjoy it when it is about orchids and orchid adventure and I learn a lot from all of you. For this I thank you all...even Dr. G. I do hope old list people find out and come back. Sorry to have been so OT lately but I just could not stand by w/o saying something.
