Mr. Nic van den Bosch
I read your stuff last year and was way enthralled....I had 1000 pots (Big
pots) of cymbids before the boiler died one cold night....18 F for a
week...not much survived....(takes 3 days to drain a range that big.....lost
all the pipe....Geeeez) but bless the little beauties...a few did......last
year I potted up a few in horse crap (cause of what I read on your site) and
behold they look great! My only problem is I used stall poop...alittle dry
(by the way dry poop floats)......After a year the medium has sank and the
plants are low in the pot....need to reup the medium....which I am about to
do....fresh poop or old poop? Does horsey poop degrade fast?
Oh yeah..on the side.....since I went from 16k square foot to way less...I
slacked off and didn't water everyday during the dark days of winter....no ill
effects that I can see!

With the up most respect...

If reality had a stage door I'd hang around there to see what comes out after
the show.
