Colleagues: As editor of a monthly orchid society newsletter I receive questions and requests for information from our readers. I pass this one on through the OGD because I suspect it may affect others too — as follows: Is there a known correlation (read cause and effect relationship) between the use of an unvented gas fireplace and the blasting of buds, along with early demise of flowers, when orchids are grown in the home?
