I rarely post here for the same reason that Guido and Peter have so expertly
exemplified. Over-reaction to a simple anecdote told to me ten years ago by
a known maverick. Not only were no names or places mentioned (besides
"Vietnam" and "Michael Kovach"), I never claimed I believed it. Which one

I enjoy folks sharing anecdotes. Each of us has the right to evaluate
these, ask questions, and decide whether to believe. I take it all with
a grain of salt. There's a big difference between disagreement and
personal attacks. It isn't necessary to overreact to everyone's every
statement. Please stop sniping at everyone every chance you get.
Treating Ed like a criminal for repeating an amusing and interesting

immature, and inappropriate. I think most of us here feel this way but
are afraid to speak up and invite the vitriolic invective which is sure
to follow.
Thanks for sharing, Ed.
