Was wondering if there is any difference between these two plants?
Dear Sue ... the only difference is the Latin spelling. As it is
"Encyclia" it must be "phoenicea" ... if you don't recognise "Encyclia"
and want to
consider the plant to be an "Epidendrum", it would have to be
"Epidendrum phoeniceum." (It is the gender that must correspond with
the gender of the genus).
