That, he may be. On the other-hand Guido, if what Michael told me actually
did occur, in some far-off, obscure area, and the alleged corrupt local
official was dealt with over a decade ago, and you were simply not aware of
it, you would owe someone an apology. I remember a few of the details of
Michael's story, but it was a decade ago, and perhaps if you're really
interested in the facts you can ask him yourself whenever it becomes
convenient. I wouldn't know how to contact him at the moment, or whether he
feels like talking to anyone right now. I'm sure if there were anyone who
could ferret out the facts it would be you and Peter.

And Tennis: I also enjoy people sharing anecdatotes, but when the
anecdotes are obviously "bull" and insult people or peoples.
sharing them makes people who do not know much about the orchid world
insecure.
If we let this stand as is, in 10 years people will say " well the
Vietnamese have killed orchid collectors" ... That is
human nature. So your defence for Ed is no good.
Check the anecdotes _before_ you share them ... especiially as there are
some of us about who, indeed know how to check these things.
And now lets stop this line , or I will cremate it.
