Bob typed: (Hello everyone! How about the idea the insects, birds, and mammals that provide for plant procreation were created for that purpose by God? The huge diversity of plant life and its importance in sustaining life on this planet would necessitate great care in designing ways for it to continue, and being created would account for the variety - pleasing to look at. In many cases, fascinating to watch. Over and over. How would you design a planet sized garden? Thousands or millions of one or a dozen plants and animals? Or what we have here? Fossils are the remains of organisms that died, showing they once existed (if they're extinct), or essentially unchanged (if still around). . Just my two cents. Bob, this topic has been discussed before, so I'll make it short...DON'T post topics on religion in this discussion list, save it for your religious discussion board as some of us either don't want to read it or don't believe it.
