Thanks for your OGD tale about unscrupulous orchid caretakers.
There is one bit of the story that is missing--the name(s) of the
perpetrator. Finish the story, please.
I may need to move my plants to temporary greenhouse housing
within the next year for an unknown period. I have thought of using
similar services. Some of my plants are species that
are uncommon in personal collections. Regardless of their value to
others, they are invaluable to me.
From your description, it's possible that the place that I had in mind
MIGHT be the same one as the establishment causing you angst. It
would be terrible for me to house my treasured plants with an
irresponsible caretaker who never had any intent on taking care of anything
other than my money. If a dishonest business is known within our
(OGD) community, isn't it best to share that information?
