The company employs 400 people in The Netherlands cities of Assendelft and 
Heemskerk...

For the past 40 years, Monterey County has been the center of the nursery 
industry, but it's only in the past few years that the orchid market has 
grown in the area...

In 2004, county growers produced $63 million worth of orchids, according to 
the county's crop report."
