During the past few days I have noticed that people are sending comments
with many email addresses OF OTHER PEOPLE being identified. In one case it
looked like the person just forwarded a message and names 'tagged' along. In
the other the person sent CC copies to about 50 people (along with a CC to
OGD).

This must stop. People should have a reasonable expectation that people will
not compromise personal email addresses.

1. Before one forwards messages have the courtesy to delete the email
addresses of others.

2. Do not send CC copies unless you wish to blab private information about
others to the world. Instead use Bcc (Blind Courtesy Copies) and keep those
addresses hidden.
