Paul and Diane,

I am glad to hear that you have had success with them using inert media
because I have converted the other two Angraecums that I have, Angraecum
sesquipedale and Angraecum elephantinum (both purchased spring 2005) to
semi-hydroculture with LECA as the media. Angraecum elephantinum pouted a
month or two longer than Angraecum sesquipedale, but both are digging in and
growing well now.

The only reason that the A. scottianum didn't get repotted at the same time
as the other two was that I needed to locate a suitable waterproof stake for
it. I hope to look for one next week and get the plant repotted sometime
this month.

Thanks for sharing your experience with these plants.
Paula
