Hi everyone,

I am returning to this group and am enjoying what i read so far.  Just a quick introduction, I am the webmaster for the New Hampshire Orchid Society (www.nhorchids.org) and have a nice collection of orchids in my personal greenhouse (www.nhbirdsnest.com).

I grow in an 18 x 28 gothic arch greenhouse, concrete floor, with a large center height (approx 14') so i have a large growing area in which i would like to better control the humidity.  I now use the Charley's greenhouse humidity system with humidistat and blue misting heads many of you are probably familiar with. I assembled it at bench height spraying toward the aisles along two sides.  Although it works quite well, i am now interested in finding misting heads or nozzles which will deliver as much of a rolling fog as possible.  The blue nozzle heads are listed as 2.7gph.  White heads are available listed as 1gph.  I do not know if these would produce a finer mist or just less humidity?  The system now uses 10 1/8 pipe threads so i would like to find fogger heads to screw into that if possible.  It is a PVC system, however, so i could easily convert to 10/24 or 12/24 threads if neccesary.

Any recommendations that would allow me to provide a better "fog" in the greenhouse?

Daryl
