Is there a possibility to distinguish a Cattleya luteola from a Cattleya
mooreana, based only on the leaves/pseudobulbs,...??
Thank you in advance!  Hendrik De Rocker
Absolutely, I am the discoverer of C. mooreana.  C. mooreana have dark green elongated quilted leaves from 8" up to 14" on a large one depending on size and light conditions.  The bulbs are also long and thin as opposed to C. luteola which is a small plant with short fatter bulbs with leaves from 4" up to 6" + depending upon light conditions.  Lee Moore
