Hello All,

Does anyone have information on a source for this older/old (I now,
given my own state, need to classify it as such...) Cattleya-type
hybrid? This was my first hybrid tropical orchid acquisition (I was
probably about 12-14 years old at the time) - it came from a
personally-transfixing orchid nursery near Tallahassee, Florida; my
great-aunt had taken me there after a botanical visit to Prof. Ward
of FSU (another transformative story...) where I was completely
flipped out by the presence of the green fly orchid (Epidendrum
conopseum - now E. magnoliae), one of my Holy Grails of orchid
observation. (the list started long ago, with Cypripedium acaule
being the magical initiator).

In any event, I chose Lc. Little Amy from among many strongly
appealing plants [(my great-aunt was going to buy one for me, and I
was going to mow her lawn - an excellent deal :=)]

As you might infer from my note, Lc. Little Amy long ago succumbed to
disease (some sort of rot). I think that it would be interesting to
acquire she/he/it again, if possible. If you know of a source,
please let me know.

Thanks,
Brian O'Brien
