Hi OGD's
I have just arrived from a magnificent trip to Colombia. I spent 5 days on the
Purace Volocano in southern Colombia near Popayan in the company of Arturo
Carrilo and Roberto Angulo. Robert's great grandfather had the genus Anguloa
named after him by Ruiz & Pavon in 1794.
We were able to see and photograph condors in the wild at very close quarters
[15']. I will have a section up on IOSPE [www.orchidspecies.com] as soon as I
can. We also came across and photographed 100's of orchids from numerous genera
and willl also add them to IOSPE as I can.
While there I was able to photograph a few Systeloglossum species and request
a copy or scan of the AOS bulletin from 1970, 39[4]:323-329 - The Genus
Systeloglossum and
1970 39[11]: 988-994 - An Overlooked genus in the Oncidinae
Please contact me offlist if you have access to these publications.
