On Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5, Gubler Orchids will again be the location for the annual Orchid Festival. This event has become a Hi-Desert tradition which attracts both local and out-of-state orchid lovers.
The staff invites you to admire the various, beautiful varieties of blooming orchids and carnivorous plants, tour the growing grounds, and see the many orchid-related items available in their Gift Shop. Come visit, take a guided tour of our nursery, enjoy the cheese and wine tasting, or eat food hot off of the mesquite grill. Watch children jump in the free bounce house while you sip a cool beverage and listen to a live jazz band. Support the local community! In 1995, the Morongo Basin Orchid Festival first began as a fund raising event to attract tourism to the Morongo Basin. The event was so successful that it is now held annually and has generated more than $59,000 for various desert charities.
