Sorry, Marilyn. I believe Iris lives somewhere in central New York State unless she's moved. I live in southern South Carolina which is about 800 miles south (guestimate or 600 miles as the crow flies). I live right about at 33 deg latitude. Most of central NY lies around 43 deg . So 600 mi is a better calculation for talking about sun affect on plants or seasonal changes. That's also about from Clemente, CA to Rosenburg, OR.
