Hi all

Thanks Lisa, for sharing this. I haven't read the whole document, but it's
interesting to see, especially some of the non-restrictive groups, since I'd
say the groups I dance with are more on the highly restrictive end.

I call English dancing with Culver City English Country Dance, which is an
affiliate of the California Dance Co-operative, so we have the same
restrictions they do. These restrictions are also based on what the Historical
Tea & Dance Society does (I call with them too). Our policies are listed here:
https://culvercityecd.com/covid-19-information/
or here: https://www.caldancecoop.org/resources/covid-19-policies/ if you're
curious to read them.

To summarize, we require advanced registration, proof of vaccinations and
boosters if eligible (at least the first booster), N95 or KN94 masks worn
indoors (we drink and eat prepackaged snacks outside), and attendees must sign
waivers (a pre-pandemic general liability waiver, and a covid-specific waiver,
both of which are also posted on our websites). We ask folks to let us know if
they develop symptoms after the dance or have reason to suspect they were
exposed to covid before the dance, and then we alert people if someone tested
positive for covid. As far as I know, we haven't had any reported illnesses as
a result of one of our dances (thank goodness!). We've been dancing since May
2022, though we did hold our annual ball in October 2021. HTDS has been dancing
since June 2020.
