Hi Peg, and welcome to the group!
We have a 5 member board. We had term limits years ago, but had to give
up on them when we couldn't get enough volunteers to support a rotation.
Members aren't elected to specific offices, but to "at large"
positions. The board selects the officers every year for that term.
Only the president and vice-president have to be on the board, though
the secretary almost always is.
As Seth pointed out, you don't want the treasurer changing often if
they're competent. Unfortunately we had one scoundrel who not only
didn't do the work but actually stole a small amount from us. And he
was a CPA!
