Thank you for your answers regarding the fold for lifting walls. Now I'm
actually thinking about naming and giving it a definition since I agree
with Gareth that it doesn't have a name, and personally I consider that 3D
folds should have names just like flat folds.

That's why I'm now looking info about the 3D twist fold. Toshikazu Kawasaki
mentions them in "Roses, Origami & Math" but I'm not sure if he is
referring to the type of 3D twist folds I use in some of my own models.

In the preface Kawasaki writes: "The special techniques such as the 'twist
fold' and the '3D twist fold' are important bases for Hiraoir and
crytallographic origami..." Can you explain to me what does he mean by 3D
twist fold? Is it the same kind of fold as the one used in Jeff Beynon's
"Spring into Action" model? If not, does that kind of 3D twist fold have
another name?
