In my experience, adults are just as delighted with the same models that
children are.
Seriously, when Joe Hamamoto and Yami Yamauchi teach, adults are reduced to
child-like wonder with the simplest of folds.

Yes, adults are easily amused, and since their folding skills are not
developed, they really do need the basics. Remember, the crane is NOT the
place to begin with a group of more than 2 or 3. The jumping frog, from
smaller and thicker paper, hence better jumpers, are a hit. Simple money
folds, using the large sized bills available at the dollar type stores are
folds that then they can turn into tips. Just being able to do something other
than end up with wads of paper will make adults feel a sense of accomplishment,
and have fun.
