Do you think it's possible to use
gold or silver plating in an origami model? Can it be done on a paper
folded model or would it have to be folded in some other material? Has

There is a product called Rub and Buff, that is a very thick smooth waxy paste
that you rub onto an item.

It might give the effect of gold or silver plated.
Another product, Paverpol, can make a piece of sculpture really look like
bronze, until you pick it up. However, when I tried to use some to coat a
fold, I found that it tended to 'unfold' because of the wetness.
